Drums Studio with Mark De Rose
at Willis Elementary School
Take a hands-on journey into some of the popular drums, percussion instruments and rhythms from around the globe.
We will touch upon the cultural history and origins of various drumming and rhythmic traditions
and dive right into playing on various instruments.
Students will learn how the instruments work, why each has a particular sound and how the sounds are created. As we experience the joy of rhythmic exploration, we will combine to create our own drums ensemble at Willis.
