Singing Lessons for All Ages
The human voice is an extraordinary instrument and to train and utilize it to make music can be one of the most beautiful and fulfilling experiences available to us. Formal singing lessons can successfully begin as early as age six or seven. Our vocal program is designed to benefit students of all ages and levels, from children to adults and seniors.
The newest member of our talented team of teachers is Sophia Masterson, a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, where she earned her BFA in Vocal Performance and a minor in Theatre. While at conservatory, Sophia studied piano, music theory, vocal pedagogy, foreign languages, ballet, and acting. Prior to and during her time at CMU, she performed with many organizations, including the Sarasota Opera, Opera in the Ozarks, Opera Steamboat, Scotch & Soda, and Carnegie Mellon School of Music.
Sophia is working with voice as well as piano students and is excited to teach at the Suzuki Institute, making her studio a welcoming environment for all her students.
