What We Teach

Suzuki and traditional method Violin, Viola, Guitar Lessons

Features of our strings program include:

  • Individual instruction and group lessons

  • Music notation & theory instruction

  • Recitals & performance opportunities throughout the year

  • Parent-Help Meetings to maximize your child’s music learning
     

During a child’s first semester of Suzuki violin lessons, the parent will develop a rudimentary understanding of the violin. The child observes and participates in those lessons. After that introductory stage, the child becomes the main focus of the lessons.

Drums, Percussion, Saxophone, Clarinet, Trumpet, Flute, Voice Lessons

These programs are designed to provide a wide exposure to the world of music. For more experienced/advanced students they also offer our families the highest level of music education available, with your and/or your child’s best interests at heart. In addition to teaching music to children, we also instruct adults and seniors.

Features of our program include:

 

  • One or more 30, 45, or 60 minute music lesson each week

  • At least two recitals per year

  • Advanced training for the serious student

  • A wide network of experienced instructors which enables us to skillfully match your family with a music teacher of your preference

  • An extensive library comprised of classical, seasonal, popular, gospel and other music

  • Ear training

  • Theory instruction

  • Certified instruction through the Royal Conservatory Program

  • Private adult instruction
